My goal at Making Friends With Food is to facilitate the development of sustainable long term changes that allow you to live your best life while enjoying the foods you love.
Because- who wants to give up pizza and ice cream? Certainly not me!
My name is Bridget Nieves. I’m a 36 year old mom of two. I’m a speech language pathologist with a new found love for nutrition and wellness. I am also a NASM certified Nutrition Coach. I am the owner and face behind Making Friends With Food ™️ 👋🏻
I started Making Friends With Food in 2021 during my own personal weight loss journey.
As someone who was overweight their entire life, I know exactly how it feels to be uncomfortable in your own skin. At my heaviest, I was 316 pounds, had hypertension, and was pre-diabetic. The COVID-19 pandemic gave me the wake up call I needed to save my life.
In 11 months I lost 103.5lbs, and I’ve successfully kept that weight off for almost a year now.
At Making Friends With Food I offer individualized, personalized, 1:1 coaching designed to meet your unique needs.
My personal experience, education, and training completes my coaching arsenal – allow me to provide you, with the tools and methods you need to achieve your goals.
There is no long term commitment, we go at a month by month basis, as long as you need. Coaching is meant to be a tool.
